Marketing strategy
Marketing strategy first: before you spend a dinar, know who for and why
The biggest waster of marketing budgets: starting execution before answering two questions. Who are we selling to, and why would they buy from us rather than anyone else. Strategy is the written answer to those two, and everything after it is built on top.
Step one is a free diagnosis, no commitment.
If this is your situation, we're talking about the same thing
- You've tried every channel and none of them worked properly
- You can't say precisely who your ideal customer is
- You compete on price because there's no other reason to pick you
- Every month brings a new plan, because there was never a plan
What you actually get
- Real market and competitor analysis
who does what, and where the gap is
- Precise audience definition
who, where, what hurts, what stops them buying
- Offer and messaging
why you and not them, in a sentence a customer understands
- A customer journey map from first hearing about you to paying
- A prioritised channel plan with proposed budget and target numbers
- A written document you can execute yourself or hand to anyone
And what does it not solve alone?
Honestly: Marketing strategy on its own does not necessarily fix sales. Marketing is an interconnected network, and every link strengthens the next. These are the links that work with this service, and why:
Real work, not claims
Questions that always come up
What's the difference between strategy and a content plan?
Strategy answers who, why, and with what message. A content plan answers what to post and when. The second is built on the first, and when people start with a content plan and no strategy, they post a lot and sell nothing.
Do you execute the strategy or only write it?
Both are available. Some clients take the document and run it with their own team, others continue with me. I'll say it plainly: a document that sits in a drawer is worthless, so if you have nobody to execute it, tell me at the start.
How long does it take?
Two to four weeks, most of it spent on research and interviews rather than writing. I need access to your real numbers and one or two sessions with you. Without those the document turns generic and useless.
Short game
Draw Your Customer
Answer the way every company answers: who is your audience? Then let us draw your real customer question by question, and see the difference between an ad segment and a person you know what to tell.
Let us start the way everyone defines their audience:
Done. This description fits hundreds of thousands of people. One question: what do you know about any of them that helps you sell to them? ...Nothing. Age and location decide who sees your ad, but they write not a single word of it.

The usual targeting
The persona you drew
The first description tells you who might see your ad. The second one writes the ad itself: the problem you open with, the fear you calm, the objection you answer before it is asked, and the line that stops the scroll. That is the difference between talking about a segment and talking with a person.
This persona is built from ready-made options for illustration. Your real persona is built from your actual customer conversations, their DM questions, and the reason behind your last three sales.
Now draw it for your own business
The game above was practice with ready-made options. Write one line about YOUR business — what you sell and to whom — and Nabd, my AI assistant, will draw a first draft of your customer's persona.
